The Learning Agent
We are not competing with study tools. We are replacing the chat agent.
01
Building the Learning Agent
Every generation has been defined by the technology that expanded what people were capable of doing. The printing press expanded knowledge. The internet expanded access. Artificial intelligence is expanding intelligence itself.
The technology is now advancing faster than people can adapt. Every week, new models change what is possible. New tools appear, new workflows emerge and entire professions evolve. The world keeps accelerating. People do not.
No one knows exactly which skills will matter five years from now, how work will be divided between people and AI agents, or what education, careers and organizations will look like. What we do know is that the old model no longer works: learn, graduate, work, retire. That world is over.
Learning is no longer a phase of life. It has become the operating system for life. That changes everything. The world no longer has a shortage of intelligence — it has a shortage of human capability. We believe that creates an entirely new category.
02
The Learning Agent
The first generation of AI helped people complete tasks. The next generation will help people continuously become capable of new ones.
A learning agent is not another chatbot, not another tutor and not another productivity tool. It is a persistent system that understands what a person knows, what they are trying to achieve and what capability they need to build next.
General AI assistants optimize for solving today’s problem. A learning agent optimizes for preparing you for tomorrow’s. It remembers. It adapts. It learns how you learn, and it changes as you change.
The product is the relationship.
03
Why Klar begins with students
Every large technology platform begins somewhere. Facebook began with universities. Amazon began with books. Stripe began with developers. We begin with students.
Not because education is the destination, but because nowhere else do people learn more frequently, receive more feedback or experience capability growth as quickly. Students are not our market. They are the beginning of the relationship.
Someone may first open Klar before an examination. Years later, the same relationship can help them master a new technology, enter a new profession or adapt to capabilities that do not exist today. The subject changes. The profession changes. The technology changes. The relationship does not.
04
Why this compounds
Every interaction teaches Klar something. Not about mathematics, not about biology — about the learner: what they understand, how they learn, where they struggle and which interventions create lasting progress.
That context becomes more valuable over time. Not because the answers improve, but because the person does. The first era of AI created systems that became smarter. We believe the next era will create systems that make people smarter.
05
Why now
For the last few years the conversation around AI has largely been about automation: how much work can AI replace? A different question is now emerging: how do people keep up?
As intelligence becomes abundant, human adaptation becomes the bottleneck. That is why we believe the learning agent is becoming inevitable. We have spent the last year building for that shift not for the AI that existed yesterday, but for the world AI is creating tomorrow.
06
Our belief
We believe every person will soon have access to frontier intelligence. The defining companies of the next decade will not simply build better AI models. They will build the systems that help humanity continuously adapt to them.
We believe the learning agent will become one of those systems. That is the company we are building.
